Geo. C. Wagner, for over thirty years a merchant in Spring Grove, died suddenly 
Sunday morning, Aug. 22, aged 59 years, 7 months and 7 days.  Mr. Wagner had 
been suffering with dropsy for several months and required constant attention 
the past two weeks.  Besides his wife the following children survive:  Alvertus 
F. Wagner of York, Jesse E. Wagner of New Oxford, Benjamin H. Wagner at home, 
Mrs. Harry Munzenmaier of Atlanta, Ga., Misses Mabel P. and D. Etta Wagner at 
home; also the following brothers and sisters:  Samuel Wagner, Mrs. John Mitzel, 
Akron, O., and Mrs. Daniel S. Dubbs, Marburg.  The funeral was on last 
Wednesday, Aug. 26, Rev. M. L. Clare conducting the services, interment in 
Spring Grove cemetery.
