He was 52 years old. The deceased leaves his widow, Mrs. Jennie Wasser; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Wasser; three brothers, Nathaniel, Harry and Frank Wasser, all of York, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Schaefer, York R. D. 7. Mr. Wasser was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran congregation and York lodge No. 148, Loyal Order of Moose. He was employed by the American Chain and Cable company. The body was removed to the Guy B. Creep funeral home. Creep Funeral home, 849 East Market street. Interment in Mt. Zion cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 Sunday evening at the Guy B. Creep Funeral home. The employes of Depts. 5 & 55 of the American Chain & Cable company will view the body at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday in a group. Wasser, 517 North Beaver street, who died at the West Side Osteopathic hospital on Friday, was held at 2 p.m. today from the Guy B. Creep funeral home, 849 East market street. The Rev. Herbert G. Kline officiated. Serving as pallbearers were these fellow-employes of Mr. Wasser at the plant of the American Chain and Cable company: Charles Bollinger, Joseph Richardson, John Dart, Emory Baughman, Clyde Lauver and Lewis Rudacille. Burial was in Mt. Zion cemetery. A large number of employes of the chain plant viewed the body at the funeral home last evening. Unknown publication dated 02-11-1946
