Helen R. Wasser

Helen R. Wasser, 89, of York, formerly of 625 Wallace St., died at 5:25 a.m. 
Wednesday at Memorial Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Frank L. Wasser.

The service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 700 E. 
Market St., York.  Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.  Viewing will be 10 
to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.  The Wm. J. Workinger Funeral Home, Inc. 849 
E. Market St., York, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wasser was born in York Haven.  She was the daughter of the late Harvey and 
Annie (Richley) Gruver.

She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Wasser is survived by a son, Robert L. Wasser of York; five grandchildren; 
and nine great-grandchildren.  Mrs. Wasser was preceded in death by a son, 
Richard A. Wasser who died July 5, 1992.

Officiating the service will be the Revs. Carl A. Bentz and James M. Emerick.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 700 E. Market 
St., York, 17402.
