Dr. George P. Weaver died on Apr. 11 in Philadelphia after the operation of 
amputating his leg in effort to save his life from blood poisoning.  Dr. Weaver 
lived in Hanover a number of years before moving to Philadelphia 18 years ago 
and was known by many of our citizens.  He leaves two sons, Dr. Warren Weaver 
and Dr. Luther M. Weaver, both of Philadelphia, and graduates of Gettysburg 
College.
