Mrs. John H. Welk

An invalid the last five years, during which time she had at least 20 strokes of 
apoplexy, Mrs. Caroline W. Welk, wife of John H. Welk, died in York on Sunday 
morning, aged 66 years.  She died from the results of the recurrent attacks of 
apoplexy.  She had the first one about five years ago.  Since then she has had 
from three to six strokes each year.  She was an invalid during these five years 
and her suffering was almost continuous.

The deceased is the wife of John H. Welk, the veteran traveling salesman, who is 
well known all over York and Adams counties.
