Died in Ohio

Word was received here that Vernon Wentz died from tuberculosis at the City hospital, 
Steubenville, Ohio, Jan. 29th.  He was aged about 19 years.

The deceased formerly lived with Ira Bowman and family, near Grangeville, and left for Ohio 
about four months ago.  Mr. Bowman, on learning of the serious illness of the young man, went 
to his bedside early in the week, returning home Wednesday evening.

The deceased was a son of Edward Wentz, of near St. Bartholomew’s church, and besides his 
father is survived by two brothers, Carroll Wentz, of Penn township, and another brother living 
in Bachman’s Valley.
