Jacob Williams

Jacob Williams, an aged resident of Jefferson, died Friday evening Dec. 13th, 
from the effects of a stroke of apoplexy, received a week previous.  He had been 
a sufferer from rheumatism for the past eight years.

The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War and a pensioner.  He is survived by 
a widow, an only daughter, Mrs. Hinkle, living near Jefferson, and a son, 
Charles Williams, of that place.  One brother, Solomon Williams, of Hanover, 
also survives.
