All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/york/ _______________________________________________ WILLIAMS Mrs. Lucinda Nelson Williams, widow of the late John Williams, died at her home near Williams’ Grove, Wednesday morning at 5 o’clock, aged 92 years, 1 month and 22 days. The cause of her death was the frailties incident to advanced age. To the last she retained her various faculties, but during the past several months was unable to walk except with great difficulty. Mrs. Williams was a daughter of the late William Nelson and was born near Rose Garden Station. In 1846 she was united in marriage to Mr. Williams, who died in 1901. Mrs. Williams was one of the oldest members of Monaghan Presbyterian Church and a lady highly esteemed by all who knew her. She is survived by four sons and two daughters, as follows: Miss Elizabeth, at home, -. W. Nelson, of Lemoyne, James, of Dillsburg; Abram H., at home; El----, of Carlisle, and Miss Laura, at home. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the house, with interment in Monaghan Presbyterian Cemetery. The services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. J. Harold Wolf.
