Wood, one of the best known young men of Lisburn and neighborhood, died at his home, Oct. 20, of typhoid fever. He was running a threshing machine and was working every day among the farmers when he was taken sick during the latter part of September. He was 31 years, 10 months and 13 days old. He was married to Miss Bertha Sutton and she with one son, aged 3 years, survives. The son has the typhoid also but is convalescing. He was a son of Monroe Wood of near Lisburn and is survived by a number of brothers and sisters and both his parents. He was a young man of good moral character and had a host of friends. Funeral service were held Monday morning at Andersontown and it was one of the largest funerals held there in recent years. Services were conducted by Rev. F. W. McGuire of Lisburn and Rev. C. H.
