MONROE WOODS
Monroe WOODS, retired farmer and lifelong resident of Andersontown, died 
Friday at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Calvin FRYSINGER, He was aged 80 
years.  He had been in failing health for about a year, but was confined to 
bed less than a week.  Death was due to complications.  He is survived by six 
daughters, Mrs. FRYSINGER, with whom he made his home; Mrs. Samuel SIPE, 
Shiremanstown; Mrs. Elmer WENTZ, Wellsville R. D.; Miss Blanche WOODS and Mrs. 
George HOLLINGER, Mechanicsburg; two sons, Arthur, Mechanicsburg R. D., and 
Melvin, Lewisberry R. D; sixteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. 
The funeral was held Monday, with concluding services in the Andersontown 
Church of God cemetery.
