Dr. J. H. Yeagley Dead

Dr. John H. Yeagley, one of York’s leading physicians, died from acute 
pneumonia, Tuesday, Dec. 17th, aged 60 years.

Dr. Yeagley came of a family of practitioners.  His father, Dr. Henry Yeagley, 
practiced in Johnstown, Cambria county, where his son was born; in Berlin and 
Waterloo, Canada; and later in Lancaster, where he died.  The son was educated 
at University college, Cobourgh, Canada, and at Hannemann medical college, 
Philadelphia.  He was graduated form the latter institution in 1878 and at once 
began practicing in York.
