Zarfos, Laurel, Dies Two Weeks After Wife Laurel, Nov. 28 - George Daniel Zarfos, of this place, whose wife, Susan, died on Nov. 12 died this morning at 9:15 o'clock, from a complication of diseases. He was 75 years three months and 12 days. He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Clarence Keesey, Red Lion; Mrs. Gemmill Jamison, Bridgeton; Mrs. Effie Reichard, of Red Lion; Mrs. Herman Buckingham and Mrs. Free Grove, Felton; Mrs. Spurgeon Raub, Dallastown; Mrs. Charles Thompson, of Bridgeton; Israel Zarfos,Dallastown; Jacob Zarfos, Laurel; and John Zarfos, Lexington Ky. Also surviving are 41 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one brother, John S. Zarfos, York, and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Douglass of Bridgeton, and Mrs. Ellen Uffelman, Red Lion. The funeral will be held Monday at 10 p.m. Following brief services at the house, the funeral cortege will proceed to St. James Lutheran church in Chanceford township, where concluding services will be held. The pastor. Rev. Glenn T. Hafer, will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery adjacent to the church. Funeral Director Earl B.
