Mrs. GEORGE D ZARFOSS DIES AT LAUREL HOME: Laurel, Nov 12 - Mrs. Susan Zarfos, 
wife of George Daniel Zarfos, died at her home here this morning at 4:30 
o'clock.  Death was caused by heart trouble, from which she suffered a period 
of three weeks.  She was aged 72 years and 12 days and besides her husband, 
leaves the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Clarence Keesey, Red Lion; Mrs. 
Gemmill Jamison, Bridgeton; Mrs. Effie Reachard of Red Lion; Mrs. Herman 
Buckingham, Felton R. D.; Mrs. Free Grove of Felton; Mrs. Surgeon Raub, 
Dallastown, Mrs. Charles Thompson, Bridgeton; Israel Charles Thompson, 
Bridgeton; Israel Zarfos, of Dallastown; Jacob Zarfos, Laurel R. D. 2 and John 
H. Zarfos, Lexington, Ky. She also leaves a brother, George Strermer, Red 
Lion, R. D. 1; 41 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
     The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock.  Brief services 
will be held at the late residence, after which the cortege will proceed to 
St. James' Lutheran church, in Chanceford township, where concluding services 
will be conducted by the pastor, Rev. Glen Hafer. Burial will be in the 
cemetery adjoining the church.  The funeral will be in charge of Funeral 
Director Earl B. Burg, of Zarfos and Burg, Red Lion.
