AGED MAN DIES AFTER BEING LOST IN WOODS

Three and one-half hours after he was discovered by a part of searchers, Daniel 
H. Zartman, 74 years old, of Wiota, York county, who had wandered away from his 
home Tuesday night of last week and become lost in the woods, succumbed to the 
effects of a cerebral hemorrhage.  Mrs. Zartman was a school director of North 
Codorus township for 30 years.  The aged man had been in failing health for the 
last year.  He was lying unconscious in a field near the home of Justice of the 
Peace T. S. Walsh, a mile from the Zartman home.  Throughout the night sons and 
sons-in-law of the missing man continued the search.
