Ziegler took place this afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence on Franklin Street, and was largely attended. After a short service at the house the remains were taken to the Methodist Church, where the pastor, Rev. J. Emory Weeks, preached a suitable sermon. Interment was made at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Among those attending the funeral from out of town were: Horatio Reding(?) and wife, Percy Frey and wife, Mrs. Harry Ziegler, Mrs. Lizzie Ziegler, of York; George Ziegler and wife, William Kennard and Mrs. Elizabeth Fisher, of Middletown; J. E. Carpenter, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Mary Carpenter, of Benvenue; S. S. Peters and wife, of Lancaster, and Miss Ida Crouse, of Littlestown. Patmos Lodge No. 348, F. & A. M., Major Jenkins Post, No. 99, G. A. R., and Constantine Castle No. 142, A. O. K. of M. C., attended in a body while Hanover Lodge No. 327, I. O. O. F., and McAllister Council No. 980 Royal Arcanum sent committees. At the grave a short service was held by the different organizations. Two pall-bearers were selected from each organization: Major Jenkins Post No. 99, G. A. R., - Charles T. Kump and Silas W. Beard; Patmos Lodge No. 348, F. & A. M., George T. Kerr and E. A. Michael; McAllister Council No. 980, Royal Arcanum - G. H. Shirk and F. Y. Stambaugh; Hanover Lodge No. 327, I. O. O. F., - W. A. Clay and W. E.
