Oliver C. Ziegler

Oliver C. Ziegler, died at his late home in Seitzland, Saturday, May 3d, after 
an illness of six months from a complication of diseases.  He was aged 62 years, 
5 months and 25 days.

The deceased was a former resident of Hanover, and about 30 years ago was 
engaged in the market business here, residing on Abbottstown street.  Moving to 
Seitzland at that time, he became a miller and carried on the business for many 
years.  For some time past he was a representative of the Codorus and Manheim 
Mutual Fire Insurance Co., and became well-known all over the county.

A widow, daughter of the late John B. Miller, and Mrs. Margaret Miller, of York 
street, Hanover, survives together with nine children, one of whom is Maurice R. 
Ziegler, of Anderson, Indiana, who several years ago, was manager of the 
McCrorey 5c and 10c store in this place.

The following brothers and sisters also survive:  Dr. J. S. Ziegler, Melrose, 
Md., Upton A. Ziegler, New Freedom; Mrs. Amos G. Fair, Seitzland; Mrs. C. B. 
Wentz, Hanover; Mrs. Noah Trimmer and Miss Jennie Ziegler, of York.

Funeral, Wednesday, May 7th, services and interment at Fissel’s church at 10 a.m.

Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Wentz, left today for Seitzland to attend the funeral.
