Death was caused by a complication of diseases. The deceased was aged 73 years, 8 months and 29 days. Mr. Zinn was a retired farmer. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Emma Zinn; three daughters, Miss Daisy Shaub, York; Mrs. Harry Shelly, Emigsville; Mrs. James Straley, near Dover; two sons, Harry C. Zinn, at home, and C. W. Zinn, York; and one sister, Mrs. Amanda Thompson, Davidsburg. The funeral was held from the late residence, Wednesday, with short services at the home at 9:30 a.m. Further services were held at Salem Union church, near Dover. Rev. J. H. Hege was the officiating minister. Interment was made in the cemetery adjoining the church. News Comet, East Berlin, PA, October 17, 1930
