     This is to certify -- That, Daniel Roland, of the Rorough [sic] of York
     in the State of Pennsylvania, and Ellen Busey, of the Borough of York
     in the State of Pennsylvania were joined together in Holy Matrimony on
     the 24th day of December in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight
     Hundred and forty Eight.
          By me(signed) Jacob C. Smith, Minister of the Gospel
     In presence of (signed) E. A. Smith [pastor's wife?]

     State of Pennsylvania, County of York s.s.
     On this 11th day of February A. D. 1905, personally appeared before me,
     a Justice of the Peace in and for the aforesaid County, duly authorized
     to administer oaths, Ellen Roland, of Emigsville, County of York, State
     of Penn, who solemnly affirms that the above copy is a correct one of
     her Marriage Certificate. Mrs. Ellen Roland.
