Marriage Kept a Secret

Cards have been issued announcing the marriage of Miss Ethel Eugenia Hoffman to 
Mr. Howard Samuel Baughman, of New Freedom, Pa.  The wedding took place Oct. 23, 
1915, in St. Matthew’s Lutheran church, York, by the Rev. M. R. Hamsher, while 
the bride attended a missionary convention held there.

The announcement comes as a great surprise to their many friends.  The young 
couple will reside in York after March 15th.

The bride, who is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hoffman, formerly resided in 
Hanover.
