Cashman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Z. H. Cashman, of New Oxford and Miss Ethel V. Thomas, daughter of Robert V. Thomas, of York, were married June 21, at the home of the bride’s father. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Morris E. Swartz, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church. The young couple was attended by Robert v. Thomas, Jr., a brother of the bride, and Miss Marguerite E. Goodling. The double ring ceremony was observed. Members of the immediate families were in attendance. The groom is employed as a commercial traveler. Mr. and Mrs. Cashman left on a honeymoon trip to points East. Upon their arrival at New York city they will sail up the Hudson river to Albany. From there they will leave for Cleveland, Ohio, and then go to Columbus, where they will make their future home. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, July 1, 1916
