Donsen and Miss May Pittinger At the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Bankert, Spring Ave., Friday evening, Mrs. Bankert’s brother, John H. Donsen, and Miss May Pittinger were married by Rev. A. M. Heilman, of St. Matthew’s Lutheran church. The ring service was used. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hubley, of York, brother-in-law and sister of the groom. The bride was attired in a white pussy willow taffeta dress, trimmed in lace, and carried a bouquet of bride roses. The matron of honor wore white pussy willow taffeta and carried a bouquet of pink roses. The parlor was beautifully decorated for the ceremony in white and pink. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Donsen, of Fulton street, and is employed at the Hanover wire cloth factory. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mrs. Henry Shildt, of White Hall, Adams county. Following the ceremony a reception was held from 8:30 to 10 p.m. After a ten days’ wedding trip, Mr. and Mrs. Donsen will be at home at No. 26 Fulton street. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful presents in silver, cut glass and linens. Those present at the wedding and reception were: Mr. and Mrs. William Rife and Edward Pittinger, of Gettysburg; Mrs. Edward Donsen, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hubley, of York; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Shildt, Miss Leah Pittinger, of White Hall; Miss Edith Reed, McSherrystown; Rev. A. M. Heilman, Mr. and Mrs. H. F. Bankert, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Donsen, daughters Thelma, Gladys and Mary, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Donsen, son Herman and daughter Helen, Mr. and Mrs. George Cramer, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Ensor and son Ernest, William Donsen, Mr. and Mrs. George Rife, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boyer, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lawrence, and Miss Margaret Urich.
