Elliott-Weaver – Robert Elliott of Taneytown and Miss Emma Weaver daughter of 
Mrs. Agnes Weaver of York were married in the Catholic Church of St. Rose of 
Lucia, York on last Wednesday morning by Rev. Father Dougherty.  Charles Elliott 
of Wrightsville, a brother of the groom was best man and Miss Mary Weaver, of 
York sister of the bride was bridesmaid.  Following the ceremony a wedding 
breakfast was served at the home of the bride.  Mr. and Mrs. Elliott left for a 
honeymoon to Buffalo, Niagara Falls and New York.  The bride was born near 
Littlestown where she lived many years.  The groom acted at time temporarily as 
agent of the Penna. R. R. at Littlestown.
