Gobrecht and Miss Lillian L. Clay were married by the pastor, Rev. M. J. Roth. The attendants were, Miss Anna M. Gobrecht, sister of the groom, and Hoke Smith, of this place. The bride is the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Clay, of High Street, and is a graduate of the Hanover High School. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. N. E. Gobrecht, of East Chestnut Street, also a graduate of the Hanover High School and of Peirce Business College, Philadelphia in 1913. For a year he held a position in that city after which he returned to Hanover and is now employed in the office of the Western Maryland machine shops, East End.
