Somers GROVE, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. GROVE, Delta, were married Thanksgiving day at 12 o’clock noon, at the parsonage of the First Methodist Episcopal church, Towson, Md., by the pastor of the church, Rev. Clifford Homer RICHARDS. The ring ceremony was used. They were attended by Miss FISSEL’S cousin, John B. GOCHENAUER, and Miss Marjorie COOPER, both of Landisville, Lancaster county. Following the ceremony the bridal party went to the home of the bridegroom’s parents, where a wedding dinner was served to the bridal party. Later in the day, the newlyweds left for their newly furnished apartment at 38 South Beaver street, York, where they will be at home to their friends. The bride wore a dark green Clovelle wedding dress with black accessories. She wore a shoulderette bouquet of rust colored and yellow chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid wore a dark green silk taffeta dress with brown accessories. She wore a shoulderette bouquet of rust and yellow chrysanthemums. Mr. GROVE is employed at the Old Forge Dairy farm, near Spring Grove, having charge of a milk delivery route for the Old Forge dairy through the city of York. Mrs. GROVE is a graduate of the Landisville High school, having majored in the commercial course under Wallace GREIDER as teacher. She graduated in the class of 1933. She is employed at present in the office of the Woolworth 5 and 10 cent store at York. Additional Comment: When contacting contributor, please indicate p. 19.
