The ceremony was performed by the pastor, Rev. M. J. Roth. They were unattended. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hershey, of East Middle Street, and the groom was a former Hanoverian, being the only son of Mr. and Mrs. U. S. Kressler, the former one of the stewards at the York County Home. The family resided on Maple Avenue, West End. Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Kressler left over the trolley line for York where a reception was held at the groom’s home, about sixty persons being present. After a wedding trip Mr. and Mrs. Kressler will reside in York, where the groom is employed as weaver in a silk mill. The Hanover Herald – Saturday, February 19, 1916
