SCHMUCK MARRIED TO WM. G. MELHORN Ceremony Was Performed Wednesday Evening at the Schmuck Homestead, Broadway, by Rev. Abner S. Dechant, of Emmanuel Reformed Church. The Schmuck homestead, No. 345 Broadway, was the scene of an attractive home wedding at 6 p.m. Wednesday, when Miss Helen Schmuck Kendig, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Walters Kendig, was wedded to William Grumbine Melhorn, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Augustus H. Melhorn, of Baltimore street. Only the members of the families and a limited number of friends were present. The ceremony was performed in the spacious parlor, Rev. Abner S. Dechant, pastor of Emmanuel Reformed church, of which the bride is a member officiated. The bride after completing her studies in the Hanover High school, took a course and was graduated from National Park Seminary, Forest Glen, Md., near Washington, D. C. She is a granddaughter of the late venerable Henry M. Schmuck. The groom is a young business man and for several years past has been associated with his father in the grocery business, which was established by his grandfather, the late William Grumbine. Mr. and Mrs. Melhorn departed at 8 o’clock by automobile for Baltimore, from where they left on an extended honeymoon trip.
