Myers-Metzger

At the home of the bride’s mother, No. 681 Abbottstown street, Wednesday, June 
4, at 8 a.m., Miss Ruth E. Metzger, was united in marriage to Emanuel M. Myers, 
Jr., of New Baltimore, by Rev. S. A. Diehl, pastor of Mt. Carmel Lutheran 
charge.  The ceremony was performed in the presence of immediate members of the 
family.

The bride was the recipient of many handsome and useful presents from friends.  
The groom is employed in the pattern department of the Mummert-Dixon Co., at the 
East End.

The newly wedded couple left on the 9 o’clock car over the Hanover York trolley 
for York, Lancaster and Millersville, where they will visit friends.  Upon their 
return they will make their home with the bride’s mother.
