Reisinger and Miss Lydia A. Smith, both of York, were married Nov. 10th at Annapolis, Md., the ceremony being performed in the old Senate chamber in the state house, by Rev. Alexander Bielaski, pastor of the Maryland Avenue M. E. church. The young couple were assisted in arranging the details by Wm. H. Lamberton, Jr., one of the assistant custodians of the state buildings, who accompanied Mr. Reisinger to the court house, where the license was procured. The couple then went to the state house and were married standing upon the spot where George Washington stood when he resigned his commission as commander-in-chief of the Continental Army. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shelden F. Smith, of near York, and has for several years had charge of the jewelry counter in Wiest’s department store in that city.
