Rickrode-Hess

Preston A. Rickrode, son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Rickrode, 641 Abbottstown 
street and Miss Pauline Hess, daughter of Mrs. Lillie Hess, of Baer avenue, were 
married at 8 o’clock Tuesday evening, September 17, at St. Joseph’s rectory, 
Baltimore street, by Rev. J. A. Huber.

Immediately after the ceremony, they were conveyed to the home of the groom’s 
parents, where a reception was held and a sumptuous supper provided.

Among the guests present from out of town were Mrs. Nathaniel Flickinger and 
daughter, Mrs. Walter Bange and two children, of Union Bridge, Carroll county, 
Md.

Mr. and Mrs. Rickrode will make their home for the present with the groom’s 
parents.  The bride was the recipient of a number of valuable presents.

The groom is an erecting engineer, employed by the Fitz Water Wheel company.
