Rowland, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rowland, of Maugansville, Md., and Miss Margaret M. Harlacher, daughter of Wilson H. Harlacher, of Locust street, were married at the bride’s home, Saturday evening, August 10, at 8 o’clock, by Rev. B. F. Masterson, pastor of the church of the Brethren, at Long Beach, California. The bride and groom were members of the faculty of Blue Ridge College, at Union Bridge, Md. The bride held the position of treasurer and was also an instructor in the college for the past seven years. The groom spent the last year studying at the Peabody Conservatory of Music, Baltimore. Mr. and Mrs. Rowland immediately following the ceremony, left on a wedding trip to points in Pennsylvania and Maryland, after which they will go to Harbourville, Kentucky, where Mr. Rowland has accepted a position as Director of Music and Voice Culture, in Union College, that place.
