Married at Elmira

Word has been received in this place of the marriage of Miss Hattie Ernest, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ernst, of Penn street, 
to Washington Walker, manager of the office of the New York Telephone company, at Elmira, N. Y.

The ceremony took place at the home of the groom in that city, Thursday, March 12, Rev. Alvin C. Sawtelle officiating.  The 
attendants were Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Witham.

Miss Ernst for several years was an operator at the local exchange of the Cumberland Valley Telephone CO., and left for 
Binghampton, N. Y. last August.

The groom is also well known here, having bee manager of the office of the local telephone company from April 1st to Oct. 1st, 
1913.
