Ray Williams, of Gettysburg, and Miss Edith Hilterbrick, of York, were married at 8:30 o’clock Sunday evening, in St. Paul’s Lutheran church, York, by the Rev. Clinton Walters. The ring ceremony of the Lutheran church was used. Miss Katherine Hill, of Gettysburg, acted as maid of honor for the bride; wile Mr. Williams had Clarence W. Epley, of Gettysburg, as best man. Mr. Williams graduated from the public schools of Gettysburg and later attended Gettysburg Academy and College. He is a veteran of the World War, having been a member of the twenty-fifth Central Officers’ Training School at Camp Lee, Virginia, for more than two months. At present Mr. Williams is in the employ of the Pennsylvania State Highway Department, in the capacity of a civil engineer. For five years he held a similar position with the Pennsylvania Railroad. Mrs. Williams is a graduate of a York business college and for several years has been a secretary at the American Chain Company, York. She is a daughter of the late Luther N. Hilterbrick, and formerly resided in this place. Following a wedding trip to Philadelphia and New York, Mr. and Mrs. Williams will be at home in York.
