I, Samuel Bahn of the Borough of Wrightsville, County of York & State of Pennsylvania do make publish and declare this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void and of no effect any and all other wills by me at any time heretofore made. I am the sole survivor of the seven children of my father John Adam Bahn, deceased, that is to say I had three full brothers whose names were respectively Joseph, George & David and one full sister whose name was Mary. I also had two half brothers whose names were respectively Henry & Adam. It is my will that my estate after my death shall be distributed to and among the persons indicated as follows and in the manner herein directed. 1st I order and direct that after my just debts funeral expenses, the securing of a suitable grave stone and expenses of settling my estate are paid I give and bequeath to Rachel Bahn the widow of my brother David Bahn deceased, all my personal estate except monies, chosis [?] in action, stocks, bonds, notes, and other securities, providing she survives me, but if her demise occurs before mine then it is my will that my personal estate with such exceptions as are above stated shall be equally divided among the heirs of the said Rachel Bahn. 2nd I give and bequeath to Rachel Bahn, the daughter of my half brother Adam Bahn, deceased, the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.) providing she survives me, but if her demise occurs before mine then it is my will that the said one Hundred Dollars ($100.) shall be equally divided among the children of my full brothers and sister and Rachel Bahn the widow of my brother David Bahn deceased or among as many of the foregoing as may be living at the time of such distribution each and every one share and share alike.... 3rd I give and bequeath to Mrs. Caroline M. Thompson, of the Borough of Wrightsville the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.) providing she survives me, but if her demise occurs before mine then it is my will that the said one Hundred Dollars shall be equally divided among the children of my full brothers and sister and Rachel Bahn the widow of my brother David Bahn, deceased, or among as many of the foregoing as may be living at the time of such distribution each and every one share and share alike. 4th The residue or remainder of my estate I give and bequeath to the children of my full brothers and sister and Rachel Bahn the widow of my brother David Bahn deceased each and every one share and share alike of those who survive me, but if the demise of any or either of them occurs before such distribution is made then such residue or remainder shall be equially divided among those of that number who survive at the time of such distribution each and every one share and share alike. I nominate constitute and appoint my nephew Milton W. Bahn of New Freedom, York Co., Penna. to be the executor of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I said Samuel Bahn have hereunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of July A.D. 1888." "Memorandum.
