Item 1. I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife Caroline all my estate, real, personal and mixed which may remain after paying my just debts and funeral expenses, of which I shall die seized and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease: to have and to hold the same to her, and her executors, and administrators and assigns forever. Item 2. I do nominate and appoint my beloved wife Caroline and my friend Emanuel Mmmert [?] to be the executors of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have herunto set my hand and seal this 25th day of March A.D. 1887. Jacob Blessing (seal) Memorandum: Jacob Blessing the said decedent died on the 26th day of March A.D. 1887, at or about the hour of 4:30 o'clock A.M. of said day, as per affidavit of death in Book 1st [?] page 262. Filed on the 4 day of April A.D. 1887. Letters testamentary on the foregoing will of Jacob Blessing deceased were granted to Caroline Blessing and Emanuel Mummert the executors named in the said will after being duly qualified according to law on the 4 day of April A.D. 1887."
