That said personal estate at public sale brought $181.11. That said that Lawrence died indebted by judgement of the following persons, viz: Jonathan WOLFRAM about $200 Jacob BUSER about $55 Joseph GRAYBILE $80 Cath. LEHMAN about $81 Your petitioner (Henry CRAUMER) $181 - besides interest and cost on the said judgements - also about $60 to John HELZEL for which petitioner believes there is judgement before George Fisher Esq. to John BEHLER a note of about $25 and a book account to your petitioner (Henry CRAUMER) about $35 amounting to $717 without interest or costs. that besides said personal property, decedent left a track of land about 125 acres in said Township, on which are dwelling house, barn and the improvements, adjoining land of widow LONG, DeSHUE and others, worth about $650. your petitioner knows of no other estate of decedent except some money due to him from his share of his father's estate amounting to about $45. He therefore prays the court to award sale of said land to pay debts. signed: Henry CRAUMER York County Henry CRAUMER being sworn with the fact states in the petition are true to the best of his knowledge and belief. Dated 5 January 1841 signed Justice of the Pace (name unreadable) ---------- to the judges above named. The under signed respectfully represent that in pursuance of the above order after due and legal notice of the time and place of sale, he sold the property and the above order mentioned in the previous as following viz: the property being sold. No. 1 containing 50 acres more or less adjoining lands of Daniel SHUE, Conrad BRICKER and others was sold to Christian MECKLEY at the rate of $7.80 per acre or for this some of $311.41 and a half. The one- half of the purchase money payable on the first of October 1841 and the other half on first October 1842. The deed to be delivered with the property at the time of the final payment. No. 2 containing 19 acres more or less adjoining delay and of John ROHRBAUGH and others land sold to John ROHRBAUGH at the rate of $10 per acre for the sum of $189.43 and 3/4 on same terms. No. 3 containing 80 acres more or less was sold to Catharine LEHMAN or the sum of $298.12 1/2 at the rate of 4 dollars per acre, on the same terms. No. 4 containing 9 acres more or less sold to Joseph GREYBILL at the rate of $10 per acre for the sum of $85.81 on the same terms. The above properties sold better in consequence of the division of lots. The price in group is the amount obtained care for counting the actual number of acres as often end or searching by survey at prices per acre are stated above.
