I, Adam KRAMER of the borough of York in the county of York and state of Pennsylvania being aged and sick, therefore have thought proper to make my latest will end Testament as follows, Principally and FIRST of all I commit my Soul to God and my body I desire may be decently Buried, by my children and executors. SECONDLY, I order all my Just Debts and funeral Expenses to be paid by my Executors hereinafter named. THIRDLY, I give and devise onto my beloved wife and Elizabeth My present dwelling house and lot of ground and also my Household and Kitchen furniture, Bedding linens and my Cow, during her Natural life, also one Hog her choice, all the Grain, Meal and dried meat in my House and fifteen Bushels of good Wheat after harvest and Twelve pounds of money. I also order my Executors to put Two Hundred Pounds of the first payment of the purchase of my Plantation of land and Warrington Township on interest and to pay interest thereof unto my said wife yearly and in case the Interest should not be sufficient to support her Yearly during her life, I order my Executors or if the survivors of them to pay her with first her Sum of the Principal as they or the survivors of them shall take proper and necessary, from time to time. I give and bequeath unto my children of my former wife and their Heirs or Representatives this Of Four Hundred Pounds As Soon As the Said Can Be Raised by the Sale of My Plantation and Lands in Warrington Township, Distributing First Out Of the Same the Above- mentioned To Hundred Pounds Which I Ordered to Be Put in Interest for the Support of My Said Wife to Be Equally Divided between Them, the Representatives of such of Them As Are Dead Also to Have their parents Share Equally. I Also Give unto Each of Them and Their Heirs in Equal Share of the Residue of My Estate, after the Same is converted into Money, with all my other children of my present wife, viz. Elizabeth, Adam, Jacob, Catharine, Eve, Abraham and Peter, the Representatives of such as all our Dead to Inherit their parents share equally, which said Sums or Legacies Are to Be in Full of Them and Each of Their Share Out Of My Whole Estate or Any Amount or claim Which They May Have against Me whatsoever. I order my Executors to sell my Plantation and other Lands in Warrington Township aforesaid, as soon as the Judge proper and public or private sale at their discretion. As also my Dwelling House and Lots of Ground. Situate in Water Street and judge personal property after my widow’s death as she may leave. And they were the survivors of them to give the necessary titles to the purchasers for the same. The money to be divided among my children, has also the Two Hundred pounds which I intended to be part and interest for the support of my wife or such part thereof has remained after her death in the manner here and before directed. AND LASTLY I hereby nominate and appoint my trusty friends Martin GARTNER and Adam BAHN to be executors of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and Seal this Second Day of June A.D. 1798 SIGNED: Adam (his X mark) CREMER Signed, sealed published pronounced by the said Adam CREMER as his last will and testament, in our presence who have subscribed in manner and witnesses in his presence that his request and in the presence of each other at the same time. Peter FESSER Christopher LAUMAN York County Ss Before me Jacob Barnetz register for the Probate of wills and granting of Letters of Administration indent for the county of York in the state of Pennsylvania personally came Peter FESSER and Christopher LAUMAN and the two witnesses to the foregoing Instrument of writing also the said Christopher LAWMAN on his Solemn Oath, and he the Said Peter FESSER on his Solemn affirmation according to Law, DO severally say, that they were personally present and saw and heard the above and witnessed named Adam CREMER make his mark unto and Seal and Publish the foregoing Instrument of Writing as and for his Last Will and Testament and that at this time of the doing whereof he the said Adam CREMER was in the sound and disposing mind, Memory and Understanding to the best of his knowledge and belief. And that they subscribe their names here where as Witnesses in the Presence of the said Testator and at his request and also in the presence of each other at the same time.
