In the name of God Amen I Andrew Finley of Hopewell Township York County and State of Pennsylvania Being in Perfect health Mind and Memory thanks be to God therefore Calling to Mind the Morality of My Body knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to die do Make and ordain this my Last will and Testament that is to say Principally and first of all I Give and Recommend My Soul into the hands of Almighty god that Gave it and My Body I Recommend to the Earth to be Buried in Desent Christian Burial at the Discretion of my hereinafter Names Executors. Nothing Doubting But at the General Resurection I Shall Receive the same again by the Mighty power of God and as Touching Such Worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to Bless me in this Life I Give Demise and Dispose of the same in the Manner and form following. First I Devise and Bequeath unto my Niece Elliner Baxter The Sum of Two Hundred pound pounds so that She May Receive or Draw the Interest for said two hundred pounds, Lawful Money Year and Yearly During her Natural Life and Make or Assign it to whom She Pleases at her Death Sd Elliner Baxter Likewise Shall have Liberty to Live on the plantation whereon I now Live for Term or Tim of Five full years from the date hereof Clear of all Mollestation By any person or persons She the said Elliner is to have Two Milch Cows Item I Give and Bequeath Unto My Niece Mary Laird the Sum of Six hundred pounds Lawfull Money of the State aforesaid also the Plantation I now Live on in hopewell Township aforesaid and all my other lands thereunto Ajoining to her and her Heirs for Ever and the one half of all my Houshold furniture and the one half of All My Books And is to be paid Next After Eliner Baxter is paid Out of My Outstanding Debts Item I Give and Bequeath Unto Andrew Finley Laird the sum of three Hundred pounds Specia My Watch and Swoard and Silver Buckles & Buttons and allMy Wearing Apparrel and myh Gun & no more Item I Give and Bequeath Unto finley Laird the Sum of forty Shilling Current Money of the State aforesaid Item I Give & bequeath Unto Abigail Laird the sum of four hundred pounds Specia Item I will and Bequeath unto Rosana Baxter the Sum of four hundred pounds Specia to be put in Interest untill she come of the age of only twenty one years She is to Draw Six pounds Specia per year out of the Interest Arising from sd four hundred pounds untill She Comes the age of aforesaid Item I Give and Bequeath Unto my Sister Geans Children one pound Current Money as It passes in the State within ??? if the[y] Come for it Item I Give and Bequeath Unto Agness Morrison the sum of Ten pounds Specia & no more and it is My Last will also that the Remainder of all my Estate to be Equally Divided Betwixt Mary Laird Abigail Laird and Rosana Baxter it is my will that my Excr put a Tome Stone over my Grave And Pay themselves out of my Estate I Likewise Constitute Make and Ordain Robert Gammill and Andw Warrick Both of hopewell Township aforesaid Executors of tis my Last Will and Testament and Michael Morrison of the Township aforesaid to be my Gardeen of the whole of my aforesaid Estate and I do hereby Revoke and Disanull all and Every Other Testament will and Legacy And Bequeaths & Executions by me in any way before Names Willed of Bequeathed Testifying and Confirming this and no other to be my Last Will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal This Twelfth Day of March in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Six Signed Sealed published and pronounced and Declared Andw Finly by me the said Andrew finley as my Last will and Testament In the presence of us Nicholas Dibbel philip Winand John Winand York County, Pa Befour me Jacob Barnitz Register for the probate of Wills and granting Letters of administration in and for the County of York in the State of Pennsylvania Personally came Philip Winand and John Winand, two of the subscribing Witnesses to the foregoing Instrument of Writing, and on their solemn Affirmations, They conscientiously ??? the taking of an Oath Do personally say, what they were personally present and the said John Winand did see the above named Andrew Finley sign his name unto and Seal and publish this foregoing Instrument of Writing as and for his Last Will and Testament, and he the said Philip Winand did see him the said Andrew Finley acknowledge the signing and sealing thereof, and publishing the same as and for his Last Will and Testament and that at the respective times of the doing thereof he the said Andrew Finley was of a Sound and disposing mind memory and Understanding to the beat of their knowledge and belief, and that they subscribed their names thereto as Witnesses in the Presence of the said Testater and at his request and he the said John Winand farther saith that he did see Nicholas Dibbel and the said Philip Winand sign their names thereto as Witnesses on the same day. Item I give and bequeath unto my niece Mary Laird the sum of 600 pounds lawfull money of the state aforesaid also the plantation I now live on in Hopewell townshop aforeaid and all my other lands thereunto to her and her heirs for ever and the ½ of all my household furnishings and ½ of all my books and is to be paid next after Eliner is paid out of my outstanding debts. Item I give and bequeath unto Andrew Finley Laird the sum of 300 pounds specia my watch and sword and silver buckles and buttons all wearing apparel and my gun and no more. Item I give and bequeath unto Finley laird the sum of 40 shillings money of the state aforesaid. Item I give and bequeath unto Abigail Laird the sum of 400 pounds. Item I will and bequeath unto Roseanne Baxter the sum of 400 pounds to be put in interest until she come of the ape of only 20 years she is to draw 6 pounds per year out of the interest and from sd 400 pounds until she comes the age of aforesaid. Item I give and bequeath unto my sister Geans children one pound current money as it passes in the state within??? If they come for it. Item I give and bequeath unto Agness Morrison the sum of 10 pounds and no more and it is my last will also that the remainder of all my estate be equally divided betwixt Mary Laird Abigail Laird and Roseanne Baxter my will that my escr. Put a tome stone over my grave and pay themselves of my estate I likewise constitute make and ordain Robert Gammill and Warrick both of Hopewell township aforsaid esecutors of this my last will and testament and Michael Morrison of the township aforesaid to be my gardeen of the whole of my aforesaid estate and I do hereby revoke and dusanull all and every other testament will and legacy and bequeaths esecutions by me in any way before enames willed of bequeathed testify confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament.
