I Frederick Geisselman of Springfield Township the County of York and the State of Pennsylvania being advanced in age, but of a sound and desposing mind memory and understanding Blessed be God for the Same Considering the Certainty of Death, and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to Settel (sic) my Worldly affairs and thereby better Prepare to Leave this World when it Shall Please God to Call me home, do therefore make and Publish this my Last Will and in manner and form following: That is to Say: First and principally I commit my Soul into the Hands of allmighty (sic) God, my Creator and My Body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter Named It is my Will and I Give and bequeath all the Remainder of my Estate which I now have or Shall have in my possession at the time of my Decease, of all kinds and Nature, including my (illegible), agreeable to a Bond of Performance Executed to me by my son Georg Geisselman, Deceased. To my Son, Frederick Geisselman and to his heirs and Assigns, for my Maintenance and Trouble which he and his family may have with me and my funeral expenses he as an Executor is to Inter (sic) this my Last Will and Testament in Register office according to the Law but is not to render any account but to Injoy (sic) the Same to his Pleasure and for his own use. I publish this and declare this and Non other to be my Last Will and testament analling (sic) all former will by me heretofore made and testifying (?) and Confirming this to be my last Will and Testament and In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand, affixed my Seal this first day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four. Frederick (illegible) Geisselman SEAL Signed Sealed Published and declared by Frederick Geisseslman the Above Named testater (sic) and for his Last Will and Testament in his Presents (sic) and in the Presents(sic) of us who in his Presents(sic) and (illegible) and in the Presents of Each other, have Subscribed our Names as Witnesses thereto. Signed: Adam Lentz Jacob Falkenstine York County S.S. Before me John Stahle Register for the probate of Wills and granting letters of Administration in an for said County came Jacob Falkenstine and Adam Lentz who having duly affirmed according to law. do depose and say they were personally present and saw Frederick Geisselman the testator sign his name to the foregoing instrument of writing purporting to be his last Will and testament and at the time of so doing the same testator was of Sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of their judgment observation and belief, and that they witnessed the same at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other at the same time.
