I give and bequeath all my Real and Personal Estate with my Wifes Third Part after her Marriage or Deceas Only my Son HENERY is to have one mare none by the Name of Norton, likewise my son PATRICK is the have one horse ______of equal value. I do give and bequeath to my grandson PETER McCLANE five pound to be paid out on in trust for him until he comes of age or when he marrys either of them that should first happen and I do (ask) and Will that all My Personal Estate be Sould at the Hand (tation?) of the Executors (with) out cause and of they do not see cause. Peter Hagan b. 1767 was serving in the Revolutionary War at the time of his father's death. 2nd PA Regiment Yellow Springs; Peter was 12 years old. A guardian was appointed for his portion of his father's estate. This "orphan court" document is also transcribed and on line. Peter Hagan died in Pulaski Co. Which being examined by the Court It Is Ordered that the same be and is hereby confirmed. Present WILLIAM SCOTT, FREDERICK EICELBERGER, JOHN HERBACH and THOMAS FISHER, ESQUIRES. One of the Executors of the Last Will and Testament of EDWARD HAGAN, deceased, and Prayed That a Guardian may be Appointed to take Care of the Person and Estate of PETER HAGAN aged about Twelve Years one of the Minor Orphan Children of the said deceased which being considered by the Court, IT IS THEREAPON ORDERED that PATRICK MC SHERRY of Heildelberg Township be and is hereby appointed Guardian of the person and estate of the said PETER HAGAN the Minor Orphan Child Aforesaid during his Minority Assignee.
