Will of Michael Helman, 1814 In the name of God Amen I, Michael Helman of the Town on Hanover in the County of York & State of Pennsylvania being of perfect healthy of body & of sound mind Mind Memory & Understanding blessed be God for the same, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and publish this my last will and testament in Manner & form following to with. I give & devise all my Real and personal Estate to my beloved wife Elizabeth during her natural life time or widowhood and it is my will that immediately after her decease or Marriage as the case may be then in that case that all my real and personal property shall be sold to the best advantage and the precedes thereof be equally divided amongst all my children share and share alike, and I do hereby empower my executors herein after named to sell the same and make deeds therefore with shall be as valid as if I had done it myself and lastly I nominate, constitute & appoint my said wife Elizabeth and George Nace to be executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills here to fore made & declaring no other to be my last will and testament. in witness whereof I have unto set my hand and seal the 30th day of August 1814. signed sealed published & pronounced & declared by the said testator as his last will & testament signed Michael Helman in the presence & at his request have subscribed as witness for David Gobrecht John Bean
