I William Morrison of Lower Chanceford Township York County and State of Pennsylvania being sorely afflicted but being sound and composed in mind & memory, conscious of the approach of death do make & ordain this to be my last Will and Testament. 1st I commit my body to the dust, and my Spirit to the God that gave it.-- 2nd I order and appoint that all my just debts and funeral expences [sic.] be faithfully paid by my Executor; head and foot stones for my own & son John's graves to inc--- 3 I give and bequeath to my son Samuel the whole of the tract of land on which I now reside with all its buildings and appurtenances, excepting only such as shall herein after be mentioned, to be his in full and proper right and title, he the said Samuel paying to my daughter Ann the full sum of six hundred Dollars with lawful interest from the close of the term of one year after my decease. Item I give & bequeath to the above said Samuel all my wearing appearel [sic.]and a Clock standing in my front room. It is understood that whatever has been already given him as known to some of my other children shall still remain his in proper right.-- 4th I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann bedding & household furniture, and other property of each kind & of the full value of that given to my other daughters who are married; all which kinds of property may be known by my Executors reference being had to a schedule kept by me of said property. It is also my will that the above said Ann have the full and exclusive right to occupy the large fire room upstairs in my mansion house as the place of her residence while unmarried; If she shall so choose to occupy it; & if she shall find it uncomfortable or inconvenient so to occupy it; & shall find it necessary to change her place of residince [sic.] then and in that case it is my will that my son Samuel pay to the said Ann the sum of twenty Dollars annually in compensation for that priviledge [sic.] resigned It is likewise my will that my son Samuel lay plenty of firewood cut & ready for her fire at the house & that he keep & feed at all seasons at his expense one horse creature & one cow for her use & at her disposal-- 5th It is my will that all my other property real & personal be exposed to sale by my Executor, at as early a period as may be convenient after my decease, & that after the payment of my just debts & the deduction of the above bequests, the remainder be divided equally between my daughters Jan, Agnes, Ann, Mary & Hannah provided such remainder of my estate shall divide to each of them three hundred Dollars or any amount exceeding it, but in case such remainder as above shall not divide to each three hundred Dollars, then and in that case, it is my will that my daughter Ann receive a sum less by one hundred Dollars than her sisters. Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint Samuel Nelson of Lower Chanceford & Mathew Clark _enr. of Fawn Township or either of them my Executors hereby revoking any will or wills by me heretofore made & appointing this to be my last will & Testament -- In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this eighteenth of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.
