WALTERS and Francinah his wife by their deed bearing date the tenth day of December 1851 to my husband James PERIGO to be absolutely his property to all intents and purposes as fully as it belonged to me. In testimony whereof I have hereunto allowed my Signature to be placed (and made my mark-crossed out) to weak to make her mark Mary PERAGO WITNESSES Present: John J. WILEY James ALLOWAY York County Ss Registers office September 30th A. D. 1854 Then personally appeared John J. WILEY and James ALLOWAY, the two Subscribing Witnesses to the Foregoing Last Will and Testament of Mary PERAGO deceased And Thus Said John J. WILEY on his Solemn Oath and James ALLOWAY on his Solemn Affirmation did respectively say that they were present And did hear Mary PERAGO late of Fawn Township deceased the Testator therein named, publish and declare the Same as and for in the last Will and Testament and also she has authorized and requested John J. WILEY (one of the witnesses) to sign her name to said instrument for her. She being too weak to sign herself. Also the signing of the foregoing She was of sound disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief. SIGNED: JOHN J.
