All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Rosalie Sommer sommer@suscom.net November 1, 2005, 9:26 am Source: York County Archives, York, Pennsylvania Written: May 13, 1840 Recorded: September 1850 WILL Franey SLENKER In the name of God Amen; I Freney SLENGER widow; of Windsor township York county; and state of Pennsylvania; being in good health of body and sound and disposing mind and memory;(praised be God for the same) and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs; whilst I have strength and capacity so to do, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made; and firs and principally I commit my soul into the hands of my Creator who gave it; and my body to the earth, to be intered at the discretion of my executors herein after named; and as to such worldly estate wherewith it hath pleased god to entrust me, I dispose of the same as followeth; My will is that after my decease my executors is each of them to choose a man and them men so chosen shall appraise and value all my household furniture, so that it may be equally divided amongst my two step children and my two daughters; Joseph SLENGER and Barbara SCHUPP, Julian STINE and Elizabeth RUDOLPH; share and share alike; And after my funeral expenses are all paid off if there is any money left; my will is that it be equally divided amongst the four above named children, Lastly my will is that Elizabeth RUDOLPH shall not be paid her share of the money till after the death of her present husband; But is shall remain in the hands of my executors to be paid her after the death of RUDOLPH; And I nominate constitute and appoint my step son Joseph SLENGER and Henry STINE the Executors of this my will; hereby revoking all other wills Legacies and bequeathments by me heretofore made and declare this and no other to be my last will and testament, in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty.
