First my soul I recommend in the hands of God Almighty who give it and my body shall be buried in the earth in a Christian like manner. Item and it is my will I had all my just debts shall be first paid by my hereafter Executors. Item and it is my will and I give my dear beloved wife full power and privilege to live in my now dweling house her natural life and if she shall choose to live in the _____ _____ then it is my will that my son Petter WITTERECHT shall find her a ____ in the same and fire wood for her use. Item and it is my will that my wife shall have two of my beds which she may choose and likewise one cow which she will to be get by my son Petter _____ _____ summer and winter and likewise two sheep which she will likewise of my sheep to be get by my son Petters sheep and if one should die and then she had the right to take another of my son Petters own sheep and that for the time of five years from the next ensuing March and from then only one as long as she like to have it. And I give her power to take one of my hogs which she will for the first year and my son Petter is to follow it and after the first year it is my will that my son Petter shall give her yearly and every year one hundred pounds of good _____ pork or hocks meat and forty pounds of good beef and further it is my will that my son Petter shall give my wife yearly and every year her natural life eight bushels of _____ wheat and seven bushels of rye ten pounds of _____ flax and ten pounds of good _____ or _____ Item and it is will that my wife shall have the folowing articules out of my estate that is to say one table one chest four chairs two iron pots two _____ and a washing tub which she like to take and it is my will that my wife shall have liberty to make use of the apples for her own self in case the orchard bears Item and it my will that my hereafter named Executors shall unto my wife yearly and every year her natural life give a sum of five pounds good and lawful money in gold and silver coins and it is to be raised out of the yearly sails of my plantation hereafter mentioned and if it should happen that my wife should live longer then the yearly sails should be paid then the last sail share be not divided so long as my wife is alive to give her yearly five pounds Item and it is my will that my wife shall go on with hous keeping til the next ensuing year make and then she shall make public sail of all my moveable estate not bequeathed in this will Item and it is my will that my wife shall have the right to take six bushels of wheat and three bushels of rye and my son Petter shall have likewise six bushels of wheat and ten bushels of rye out of my grain and one hundred pounds of live pork from my estate and further it is my will that my son Petter shall have one of the young black mares which he will and the winmill? and the _____ stove in my dwelling house and it is my will that my son Petter shall have the sum of twenty pounds law mony aforesaid for one year & _____ over each. Item and it is my will that my son Jacob WITTERECHT shall have the sum of sixteen pounds mony aforesaid and likewise my son Petter shall have the sum of sixteen pounds and likewise my daughter Filbina the sum of sixteen pounds and likewise my daughter Catharina* the sum of sixteen pounds and likewise my daughter Elizabeth the sum of sixteen pounds and likewise my daughter Anna Mary the sum of sixteen pounds and likewise my daughter Sara the sum of sixteen pounds for their heirs and assigns forever. And the residue of my moveable estate not bequeathed in this will shall be equal divided among my nine children named Susanna the wife of Phillip FACKLER Jacob Witterecht and Petter Witterecht and my daughters Christina, Filbina, Catharina*, Elizabeth, Anna Mary and Sara for their heirs and assigns forever but before this shall be divided and it is my will that my wife shall have the sum of ten pounds lawful mony aforesaid over all that is bequeathed unto her out of my moveable Estate. Item and it is my will and I give unto my son Petter Witterecht all my whole plantation situated in Manchester Township and County aforesaid and another tract of land situated in Dover Township abounding thirty acres more or less which said plantation and tract of land. I give my son Petter and his heirs and assigns forever and I give by hereafter named Executors full power to give my son Petter good deeds for the said land above mentioned Item and it is my will that my son Petter Witterecht shall pay full sum of seven hundred and fifty pounds lawful mony aforesaid unto my eight children in the folowing manner first he shall pay the sum of two hundred pounds money aforesaid on the first day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight which said sum shall be equeal divided among my eight children except Petter but my wife hath to take her five pounds of it first and fifty pounds money aforesaid in a year after the first payment to be equal divided among my son Jacob Witterecht and by daughter Susanna now the wife of Philip FACKLER and then fifty pounds in a year after the second payment to be divided equal among my two daughters Christina and Filbina and then fifty pounds in a year after the third payment to be divided among my two daughters Catarina* and Elizabeth and fifty pounds in a year after the fourth payment to be equal divided among my two daughters Anna Mary and Sara & every year after the sum of fifty pounds to be divided according as therebefore mentioned beginning at Jacob and Susana then the sum of six hundred pounds is paid but my wife has always to get her five pounds of every yearly payment before divided and the three last payments shall likewise be paid as the other payments so that the last payment shall be due against the first day of Aprill one thousand eight hundren and nineteen and the first of the three payments shall be divided among my four children named Susana, Jacob, Christina and Filbina and the next payment to be divided among my four children named Catarina*, Elizabeth, Anna Mary and Sara and the last payment shall not be divided so long as my wife is alive to get her yearly five pounds and after her death it shall be divided among my aforesaid eight children Item and it is my will that my wife shall have her yearly five pounds the next five years of the moveable Estate set the first payment of the lands shall be paid Item and I give and bequeath unto my wife over and above what is bequested unto her already two pewter dishes two pewter _____ nine pewter plates nine spoons nine double knives and forks Item and it is my will that my wife shall have the one third part of the _____ garden for her own use Item and it is my will that my wife shall get all the flax that is in the ground now and make use of it for my family and I herein set and appoint my beloved son Petter Witterecht of Manchester Township and my beloved brother Petter WITTERECHT of Dover Township county aforesaid to be my lawful Executors of this my last Will and Testament Thereof I have set my hand and seal on this first day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two Signed in German Script George Witterecht Seal Sealed and Signed decreed and pronounced in the presence of Gottlieb FACKLER Martin ILGENFRITZ York County, P Before me Jacob Barnitz Resister for the Probate & Wills and granting letters of Administration in and for the County of York in the State of Pennsylvania, personally came Gottlieb FACKLER and Martin ILGENFRITZ the two subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Instrument of writing and on their solemn oaths, do severally say that they were present and saw and heard the above named George WItterecht sign his name unto and seal and publish the foregoing Instrument of writing as and for his last Will and Testament. And that at the time of the doing thereof he the said George Witterecht was of a sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding to the best of there knowledge and belief and that they subscribed their names thereto as witnesses in the presence of the said Testator and at his request, and also in the presence of each other at the same time. Signed in German Script Gottlieb Fackler Martin Ilgenfritz Sworn & Subscribed before me at York the 20th day of August A.D. 1802 J. Barnitz, Reg. Memorandum that letters testamentary in common form were granted unto Peter Witterecht (a son of deceased) and to Peter Witterecht (a brother of the deceased) of the Estate of George Witterecht deceased. Inventory to be exhibited into the Registers Office at York on or before the twentieth day of November next and an account or reckoning in a year or when legally there unto required. Given under my hand and seal of office at York the 20th August A.D. 1802. J. Barnitz, Reg Additional Comments: George Witterecht was born ca 1750, place unknown, to Michael Witterecht and Magdalena Unknown. He came to York County from Bucks County ca 1766. George Witterecht married Susanna KREBER/GREBER born 7 Mar 1753 to Philip KREBER/GREBER and Esther Unknown. The children of George and Susanna Witterecht were all born in York. 1. Susanna 31 Mar 1778-17 Sep 1823. She married Philip FACKLER, son of Gottlieb FACKLER and Maria Barbara HOLTZAPPLE. 2. Jacob 4 Aug 1779-? 3. Peter 8 Feb 1781 - 20 Dec 1824, married Barbara SCHREIBER daughter of Johannes. 4. Christina 17 Sep 1782 - ? 5. Filbina 25 Aug 1784 - ?, married Frederick HAKE. 6. Catharine 23 Jun 1786, married George MASON. Catharine is named *Catarina in her father's will. 7. Elizabeth 25 Feb 1788 - ?, married John REINHART. 8.
