Bartholomew the 1st will.			Probated August 14, 1779

Windsor Township , York County
1779 the 8th July

Testament and last will of me Bartholomew Zeller hereby directing how 
things shall be held after my decease to wit my wife Anna Marie Zeller 
shall have the place in full possession with all that is therein: 
Cattle, Waggons, Ploughs, Harrows and in short all whatsoever shall be 
found in the House or on the place to be at her own disposal and sole 
management as she can and will; As long as she continues a widow But if 
she marry again then she shall have nothing but her third.  She also 
shall have the two children namely Jacob Meyer and Catharina Meyer for 
and during the term that they have yet to serve and when the boy is 
free then he shall have a grubbing Hoe and an Ax and the girl (when she 
is free) a Heiffer which is with calf. Further shall my two Sons, 
namely Bartholomew Zeller and Jacob Zeller after the Decease, or 
Removal of the Mother have the place which shall be divided into two 
equal parts or shares and pay to the other children (Brothers and 
Sisters) their proportional shares of what the place at the Time 
between Brethern and Men shall be adjudged, which they shall pay in 
three years, every year one third thereof.  The other goods and 
Chattels shall be equally divided amongst them only my son Jacob Zeller 
shall have the Mare (first) yet so as not to have her in possession 
sooner than the Removal or death of the Mother, but the colts thereof 
he shall have from time to time. My Son, Bartholomew has received a 
Horse with which he shall not be charged. Each of my other children 
having heretofore also received a Cow, wherefore he (Jacob) shall have 
one likewise which he may take when he pleases and shall have the 
choice of the cows without any charge to him.  Further shall my Son, 
Bartholomew have the Hand Bible aforehand and Shall not be allowed to 
take two shares. Andreas Fisther's(sic) child (born of my Daughter) 
shall be one of my Heirs together with those (children) of Ulrich Nef 
and Johannes Schmit, my three daughters shall all be held alike.

My son Bartholomew and Peter Raab shall be the executors.
