I, Henry Zumbrun of Manchester Township York County Pa. being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare the following to be my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me heretofore made. First. I direct my body to be decently interred and my funeral conducted [so as to be consistent?] with my situation in life. I order and direct that my just debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon as convenient after my decease. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Alice E. Zumbrun all my household and kitchen furniture in the house where we reside, to be hers absolutely. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Alice E. Zumbrun, the one-half interest of the grain in the ground, on the farm now owned by John Shermeyer in Springettsbury township York County Pa. to be hers absolutely. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Alice E. Zumbrun, all moneys derived or coming from any [and] all Lodges or Beneficial Associations, and all moneys coming from the Railroad Relief Association, to be hers absolutely. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Alice E. Zumbrun, the corn in the crib on the farm of John Shermeyer, in Springettsbury township York County Pa. providing said corn is not sold by me before my death. I give and devise unto my beloved wife Alice E. Zumbrun, my double house situate in the Village of Emigsville, Manchester township York County Pa., fronting on Broad Street and adjoining lands of Zachariah Kohr, Reuben Lehman et. al., she to live in or rent said house, and receive the rents and profits of same, so long as she remains my widow or during her natural life, and in case of her remarriage or death, I order and direct that my Executors to sell the same at either public or private sale and the money derived from the sale of same shall be equally divided to and amongst my children viz, Lizzie Bell Stockstill [sic: Stocksdale], Alice A. Shelly [sic: Clara Ann "Annie"], Irene E. Strine, Mabel E. Zumbrun, Harry E. Zumbrun, Pauline M. Zumbrun, Charles W. Zumbrun, Horace R. Zumbrun, Effie M. Zumbrun, and Eva E. Zumbrun, share and share alike, to be theirs absolutely. I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Alice E. Zumbrun, the one third (1/3) of all my personal property, not hereinbefore bequeathed she to have same absolutely. The remaining two thirds (2/3) of all my personal property, is to be put on interest by my hereinafter named Executors in some safe and good investment, and the interest derived from said investment is to be paid annually unto my beloved wife, by my hereinafter named Executors, so long as and until my youngest child shall attain the age of twelve (12 yrs) years, the said interest to be used for the support and maintenance of my beloved wife. My Executors to give good security and bond to be approved by the Orphans Court of York County Pa., for the said two thirds (2/3) of my personal property as aforesaid so that the said sum of money may be amply and perfectly secure and safe. After my youngest child attains the age of twelve (12) years, then the said two thirds (2/3) of my personal property shall become the absolute property of my children viz, Lizzie Bell Stockstill, Alice A. Shelly, Irene E. Strine, Mabel L. Zumbrun, Harry E. Zumbrun, Pauline E. Zumbrun, Charles W. Zumbrun, Horace R. Zumbrun, Effie M. Zumbrun, and Eva E. Zumbrun, share and share alike, provided however that as soon as my youngest child attains the age of twelve years (12 yrs) those of my children who are then twenty one (21 yrs) years of age, shall receive their respective shares, and the remainder of my children as they attain the age of twenty one (21 yrs) years shall receive their respective share. Lastly I nominate constitute and appoint C. J. Roland and D. A. Shelley, Executors of this my last Will and Testament. Witness my hand and seal this thirtieth (30th) day of April A.D. 1909.
