Woonsocket Call Jan 3, 1970
Mrs. Maria (Santacaterina) (Munari) Gaus, 72 of 645 Diamond Hill Road, died 
last night in Woonsocket Hospital where she had been a patient for 2 months.  
She had been ill for a year.

She was the widow of Enesto Munari and Joseph Gaus.

Born Oct. 12, 1897 in Schio, Italy Province of Vincenza, she was the daughter 
of the late Giuseppe and Anna Zanella Santacaterina.

She came to this country and Woonsocket 58 yrs ago. She later moved to San 
Diego, CA where she lived for 15 yrs.  Then she returned to Woonsocket in 
March of 1969.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Gina Gobbi, with whom she was living, and a 
nephew Rico Gobbi, also of Woonsocket.

The funeral will be held Monday at 1 pm in the DiPardo Funeral Home, Burial 
will be in Union Cemetery.

Calling hours are tonight from 7 - 9 and tomorrow from 2-4 and 7 - 9 pm.
