Josephine A. Blanchflower-Zanella, 95 of Log Rd, Smithfield, formerly of 
Atwood Avenue, Johnston, a mender for Rockbridge Worsted in Warwick before 
retiring, died yesterday at St Joseph Hospital in No. Providence.  
She was the widow of the late Thomas Blanchflower and Bruno Zanella.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late John & Mary (Brance) O'Dea, she had 
lived in Johnston before moving to Smithfield in 1990.

She leaves 2 sons, John Blanchflower of Florence SC & William Blanchflower of 
Valley Stream NY; a daughter Dorothy Rivelli of Hudson, FL; 2 sisters, Delia 
O'Dea of Smithfield & Christine Hinckley of Johnston.  She ws the mother of 
the late Thomas Blanchflower and Mary Shaw, sister of William and George 
O'Dea, Elizabeth Gorman, Winifred Harrington and Jane Pollit.

The funeral will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Anderson-Sinfield 
Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, with amass of christian 
burial at 10 am in St Thomas Church, Fruit Hill Ave, Providence.  Burial wil 
be in St Anns Cemetery in Cranston.
