George Alfred Charpentier married Eva Rodriguez y Estronza during the 1940s. Eva Rodriguez y Estronza bore him a son, George Alfred Charpentier, Jr in California, and a daughter, Edna Charpentier in Florence, Arizona. In 1975, George and Eva Charpentier adopted Myriam Raquel Lopez y Feliciano*, (*born to Natividad Feliciano Medina & Domingo Lopez y Perez) at the Commonweath of Puerto Rico Court at Arecibo. Military: George Alfred Charpentier enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Forces from Rhode Island, and was assigned to Puerto Rico. He had also had assigments to California and Arizona During WWII. He served in the American Theater of Operations 572nd Army Air Force Base Unit as a light truck driver on anti-submarine patrol reconnaissance. George Alfred Charpentier was awarded the American Campaign Medal, American Defense Service Medal, Good Conducy Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. His Social Security Number, 039-09-6607, was issued in Rhode Island. His last Social Security benefit was paid in Isabela, Puerto Rico 00662. * A son of Joseph Desire Charpentier and Edna Gertrude Ferguson Parental information: Joseph Désiré Charpentier (1893 - 1943) of Providence, RI, son of Alfred Charpentier & Delime Girouard Edna Gertrude Ferguson (1898 - 1982) of Providence, RI, daughter of Edward Elsworth Ferguson & Mary McAree.
