 FATAL ACCIDENT -- At Wilmington, on the 18th inst., the Herald states, the 
second mate of the schooner D. B. Warner, JAMES W. DOWNS, fell from the 
rigging of that vessel, 80 feet to the whard and died in about an hour after 
from the injuries received. He was from Greenport, R. I.
